30 youths including Special Olympics medallist join BJP

New Delhi, July. 9 (Udaipur Kiran): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s membership campaign achieved a success on Tuesday. At the party’s headquarters in New Delhi, 30 youths belonging to different regions of the country got membership of the country’s largest party. These youths joining the BJP include  two-time bronze medal winner in  Asia-Pacific Special Olympics 2013. The 29-year old Disha is also a victim of Down Syndrome and also won a silver medal in the Special Olympics 2015.
All the youths are related to different areas like Youth games, Yoga etc. One of the youths is the son of Jammu & Kashmir ( J&K) BJP  leader, Gul Mohammad Mir who was killed by militants in the Anantnag district in the valley on May 5. His two sons, Zoomar Ahmed and Omar Ahmed despite bypassing the threats from terrorists, decided to join the BJP.
Kerala actor Nitin Joseph also joined the saffron party today. At the same time, Rashtagi and Sarvesh Upadhyay who  earned a name in the Yoga world got support from BJP. Avtar Singh, Tulika Mann, Vijay Yadav who won medals in Judo, got the membership of BJP. It is noteworthy that the BJP started its party’s membership drive across the country from Varanasi on July 6 to increase the number of party  members across the country to 20 crores.
