Earthquake of magnitude 4.9 hits Taipei

TAIPEI : An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 shook parts of Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, on Monday (May 13).The quake was centered in the northeastern county of Yilan. There were no immediate reports of injuries or significant damage. In the capital Taipei,”Due to this earthquake, Japan’s coastal areas may observe slight changes on the oceanic surface, but there is no concern about damage.
