PM Modi campaigns in three states

After the first phase of polling, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is busy campaigning for the remaining 6 phases.  On Friday he campaigned in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala appealing for votes 

Prime Minister Modi’s first rally was in Maharastra’s Ahmednagar. Campaigning for candidates in Shirdi and Ahmed Nagar he said that the world has witnessed the rise of India as a superpower in the past five years.

Slamming the National Conference for demanding a separate Prime Minister for Jammu and Kashmir he questioned NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s silence on the matter.

On the issue of national security he said that the Chowkidar had granted permission for the army to attack the enemy in its territory.

Taking a jibe at Congress President Rahul Gandhi he appealed to people to select between  ‘ inamdar chowkidar’ and ‘ bhrashtachari namdar’

The Prime Minister then addressed a rally at Gangavati in Karnataka… Here he trained his guns on the corrupt practices of both the JDS govt in the state and the Congress .. He said that these elections are about ‘ country first or family first’.

In the evening he campaigned for the party candidate in Kozhikode, Other party stalwarts Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh also campaigned vigorously in Odisha and Gujarat respectively.

While Amit shah pointed to the misgovernance and corruption of the Patnaik Govt  in Odisha, Rajnath Singh recounted the many achievements of the NDA govt.

Other party leaders too hit the campaign trail. Dharmendra Pradhan was on a road show in Titlagarh in Odisha Piyush Goyal addressed the press in Chennai in which he elaborated the NDA govts many achievements.

Senior party leader Smriti Irani addressed a meeting with women in Gauri ganj while UP CM Yogi Adityanath campaigned for candidates in Chhattisgarh.

Down South too electioneering  frenzy was in full swing as party leader KS Ishwarappa went on a padyatra and offered prayers at a temple in Shimoga with Vijayendra son of bs Yedurappa.
 
Campaigning in the BJP is on in full swing and the enire top brass down to the grass-roots workers are in full election mode.
