At that meeting the BJP had released a list of 123 candidates for Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections and 54 candidates for Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections on Sunday which are being held along with the Lok Sabha polls.
Tuesday’s meeting was scheduled on March 18 but postponed as a mark of respect to departed leader Manohar Parrikar.
The party is expected to finalise the first list of candidates for Lok Sabha elections for the first and second phases of polling.
The first phase for 91 seats is scheduled on 11th of April, and the seconf for 97 seats on the 18th April Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party president Amit Shah and other top BJP leaders will attend the meeting.
The election for 543 Lok Sabha seats are being conducted over seven phases till May 19. Counting of votes will take place on 23rd of May.
