Sheikh Hasina sworn-in as Bangladesh PM for 4th term

Sheikh Hasina took oath as Bangladesh Prime Minister on Monday for the third consecutive term following her party’s sweeping victory in the 11th Parliamentary elections.

President Mohammad Abdul Hamid administered the oath of office to Sheikh Hasina in Dhaka on Monday afternoon.

Aiming to inject fresh blood in new Government, Sheikh Hasina this time has not chosen any representatives from the Awami League allies for her new cabinet as she did previously.

This is the first time Hasina is forming a cabinet with the members of her own party.
