Lok Sabha passes Aadhaar Amendment Bill

Legislative business was carried out smoothly in both houses of Parliament on Friday. After question Hour, important issues were raised in Zero Hour by the members of both the houses.

In Lok Sabha, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley responded to many questions raised by the members including those on resource allocation to states. IT Minister informed the house about the issue of data theft. He said the govt will soon bring a bill on data security.

During Zero Hour, women members from across party lines spoke in support of women’s reservation bill. Meanwhile, the uproar over Sabarimala issue echoed in Lok Sabha.

The Winter Session has witnessed uproar over several issues in the past weeks. A request was also made to recall the suspended legislatures of AIADMK and TDP, to that the speaker assured the issue will be deliberated upon by the members. Two more days left before the conclusion of the winter session. The priority of the govt will be to clear important bills.
