PM Modi addresses poll rallies in Nagaur & Bharatpur

While he termed Naguar as the land of the brave, he referred to Bharatpur as the land of labour and skill.

Recalling the legacy of Jyotiba Phule, Prime Minister Modi spoke on BJP’s thrust on Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas in the state and across the country and promised to take the development journey of the state forward if voted to power for a second consecutive term.

Prime Minister’s poll pitch saw him canvassing for votes on the development plank.

Taking a swipe at the Congress on its promises for farmer welfare, Prime Minister asked it not to shed crocodile tears.

He said that had the Congress government accepted Swaminathan Commission’s recommendations, the lot of farmers would have been far better.

Prime Minister’s second stop on the campaign trail was Bharatpur where he urged people to vote for BJP so that the state is steered forward with the power of the double engine of BJP governments at the Centre and the state.

Prime Minister also launched a scathing attack on the Congress for glorifying Maoists as revolutionaries accusing it of insulting the son of Bharatpur who laid down his life during the recent Chhattisgarh polls.

He was unsparing in his criticism of the Congress for asking for proof of the surgical strikes.

He praised the development work undertaken by the Vasundhara Raje government and told the gathering that it was time to build on that instead of moving backwards.

Rajasthan goes to polls in eight days and as the polling day nears, campaign is intensifying with each passing day.
