Legal hurdles remain in building Ram Temple in Ayodhya: RSS

RSS General Secretary Bhaiya ji Joshi addressed a Press meet after the 3 day RSS Working Committee meet came to a close. On the Ram Mandir issue he said that the Supreme Court has disappointed crores of Hindus by postponing the Ram Mandir-Babri Masjid title dispute to next year.

On the demand for an Ordinance in the matter he said that it is the right of Hindus to make such a demand. He added that the government can consider this demand if all other options close.

Bhaiya ji Joshi said that the RSS wants the Ram Temple to be constructed, but there are several hurdles to be crossed. He did not rule out a movement like the one in 1992. Bhaiya ji Joshi expressed hope of some good news before Diwali.

He said the government has taken several steps to end terrorism in J&K. On Supreme Court’s Sabrimala verdict, Bhaiya Ji Joshi said while the RSS stands for women’s rights, the apex Court should have taken traditions and the sentiments of devotees into account while delivering the verdict.

Asked about Amit Shah’s meeting with Mohan Bhagwat, Joshi said it was a pre-scheduled meeting.
