Sushma Swaraj: India committed to tackling climate change

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj delivered a keynote speech at the high-level event ‘Climate, Peace and Security – The Time for Action’ in Brussels.

Addressing the conference, she said stressed that these challenges are global in nature, and can be tackled only through global cooperation.

The Minister also said that India is committed in its fight against climate change and energy conservation.

In Brussels, the External Affairs Minister also visited a photo exhibition on the contribution of the Indian diaspora in the European Union.

The photo exhibition comprising around 80 photos showcased the achievements of the 3 million strong indian diaspora in the EU.
