PM Modi: Farmer-sensitive Government needed in Karnataka

PM Modi on Wednesday said that a farmer-sensitive government is needed in Karnataka. Interacting with state kisaan morcha via the namo app, the Prime Minister hit out at Karnataka government for its indifference towards implementing the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.

PM Modi also said agriculture and farmer welfare have always been the BJP’s legacy. He slammed Karnataka govt. for politicising farmers’ plight instead of putting efforts for their benefits.

Elaborating on what the BJP government at the centre has done, PM Modi assured that needs of farmers in Karnataka would be taken care of under the leadership of B S Yeddyurappa.

PM also spoke about the extension of limit of Kisan credit card and its benefits in farming and animal husbandry sector.

PM Modi will continue to hold further talks with various wings of BJP Karnataka. In a tweet he said “Continuing my interactions via the NaMo App, I will talk to the @BJP4Karnataka Mahila Morcha members at 9 AM on 4th May 2018. Looking forward.”
