Ghaziabad, May 10 (IANS) The father and uncle of Himanshi, BSP Rajya Sabha MP Narendra Kashyap’s deceased daughter-in-law, have complained to the police regarding their security while pursuing the dowry death case in a local court.

In their application to Ghaziabad SSP Dharmendra Singh, Himani’s father Hira Lal Kashyap and uncle Hariom Kashyap said they faced the wrath of Siddharth Kashyap and his accomplices while following the case in additional district judge’s court in the civil courts premises here.

Hariom Kashyap had lodged the complaint in the case, in which Siddharth — a son of Narendra Kashyap — is one of the accused. He is presently absconding.

Himani, 29, was found dead in a bathroom of her in-laws’ Sanjay Nagar residence here on April 6 with a gunshot injury to her head.

Following her death, Bahujan Samaj Party’s leader Narendra Kashyap and five of his family members were booked in the dowry death case.

Speaking to IANS, Hiralal and Hariom said till now they were attending the court hearings in a separate CBI court compound.
