Lava Iris 414 with KitKat launched for $65 in India

While most handset makers are rolling out the Android 5.x Lollipop update, Lava Mobiles is still catching up with previous version. The company has introduced an entry-level Iris 414 smartphone with KitKat running on it and priced at INR 4,049 ($ 65).

It offers basic features such as 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) resolution display and is powered by a 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB expandable storage and dual-SIM with Dual Standby support.

This phone has a 3.2 MP rear camera with LED flash, VGA front camera, FM Radio, standard audio jack, and packs only a 1,400 mAh battery.
