“We will mostly hire local talent for filling highly skilled jobs since students coming out of colleges in Vijayawada and its surroundings are highly talented,” he said, speaking to media persons here.
The datacentre will have a capacity of 5,000 racks with each rack having 42 server units. Each server unit would be able to handle 30 to 100 operating systems, Kalyan said. Construction of the datacentre will begin in two months’ time from now and it would become operational by April next year. The state government was providing on site 33/11 kV substation for supplying 60 MW power, laying four lane access road to the datacentre and provide continuous water supply.
