Motherson Sumi Q3 profit seen up 6% to Rs 265 cr: Poll

Motherson Sumi Systems’ third quarter profit after tax is expected to increase 6 percent year-on-year to Rs 265 crore on consolidated basis, according to a CNBC-TV18 poll.

Revenue is seen going up 9 percent to Rs 8,679 crore during October-December quarter from Rs 7,987 crore in same quarter last year, driven by 13 percent growth in standalone revenues.

Analysts expect marginal recovery in original equipment manufacturer (OEM) sales during the quarter.

Consolidated operating profit may climb 4.6 percent year-on-year to Rs 830 crore but margin may decline 50 basis points to 9.5 percent in the quarter gone by.

Standalone business margin may improve to 19 percent in Q3FY15 from Rs 17.2 percent in Q2FY15.

For Samvardhana Motherson Reflectec (SMR), analysts expect (euro) revenue growth at 8 percent Y-o-Y and EBITDA margin to recover back to 10 percent (from 9.1 percent Q-o-Q).

For Samvardhana Motherson Peguform (SMP), they expect euro revenue growth at 8 percent in Q3 Y-o-Y and expect margin to improve to 6.5 percent (from 6 percent Q-o-Q).
