- First or second class Master’s Degree not less than 55% marks for General Category and 50% for Reserve Category (SC/ST/OBC) in Criminology, Sociology, Social work, Psychology, Social Anthropology, Public Administration, Political Science, Law, arid Police Administration.
- Preference to the NET/SET qualified candidate.
- Registered for PhD programme with any recognized Indian university in any of the subject mentioned above.
- The fellowships are open to Indian National of 30 years of age
