Xiaomi has finally launched the Mi 4 smartphone in India. The phone is priced at Rs. 19,999 ($ 320) and will be available starting February 10 through Flipkart. The phone will only be available in white with 16GB memory and no LTE connectivity.
The Mi 4 has a 5.0-inch, 1920×1080 LCD, Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal memory (non-expandable), 13 megapixel rear camera, 8 megapixel front camera, 3080mAh battery, and MIUI 6 on top of Android 4.4 KitKat.
In China, the phone is available in black/white and 16GB/64GB configurations and with LTE, so it’s rather odd to see Xiaomi introduce the lowest tier model, that too in just white color in India. It’s likely that Xiaomi is selling the lesser popular model in India to clear old stock.
