No CBI inquiry in bar bribery case : Kerala High Court

Said that there was no evidence to prove that the current investigation would get sidetracked

Kerala High Court today rejected a plea to engage

Since the main accused is a minister, the case should be investigated with extra caution. Investigative agency should be able to reveal the truth and court has informed the vigilance not to work under pressure from external forces. Court’s verdict was based on the plea on CBI investigation filed by A.V. Thamarakshan,a former MLA.

The high court has denied the advocate general’s request for more time to complete the investigation.
