Pakistan cautions India against ‘unilaterally’ altering Kashmir’s status

Pakistan National Security and Foreign Affairs Adviser Sartaj Aziz has cautioned India against trying to alter Kashmir’s status “unilaterally” by saying that any such attempt would further aggravate the tense situation between the two countries.

Condemning the “unprovoked and indiscriminate firing and shelling from across the Line of Control and the Working Boundary” during the concluding session of the two-day Ideas Conclave hosted by the Jinnah Institute, Aziz said that the violence indicated India’s “dangerous desire” to create a space for war, reported the Dawn.

He added that these incidents also revealed a “clear dichotomy” in India’s insistence on eliminating
