Sanction of Central Financial Assistance (CFA) for rebuilding of damaged tourist infrastructure to the respective State Governments is subject to receipt of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), availability of funds, inter-se priority and adherence to the scheme guidelines.
The arrangements for financial relief expenditure in States affected by natural calamities are enumerated in schemes of National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF)/State Disaster Response Funds (SDRF) which are administrated by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
The Department of Expenditure release grant under the scheme of SDRF for meeting the expenditure for providing immediate relief to the victims of natural calamities including Cyclone/Floods. 2nd instalment of Centre’s share of SDRF for 2014-15 amounting to Rs.178.495 crore and Rs.115.42 crore was released, in advance to the Government of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh respectively.
Further an amount of Rs.400.00 crore has already been released from NDRF.
