Qualifications: Masters degree in Marine Sciences with specialization in Physical Oceanography/ Marine Biology/ Marine Chemistry/ Masters degree in Physical Oceanography/ Hydrochemistry/ Marine Biology/ Masters degree in Physics/ Chemistry/ Atmospheric science/ Meteorology/ Masters degree in Geo-informatics/ Environment Science. M.Tech. in Geo-informatics. B.Tech./ BE in Chemical/ Mechanical Engineering branch. Consistent excellent Academic record from SSC onwards. CSIR-NET candidates will be given preference. Knowledge of programming in FROTRAN/C language. Two years of research experience in field trip related to coastal water optics. Experience in processing water samples for deriving optically active substances and operating in-water radiometer and to generate radiance and irradiance values. If suitable candidates are not found for SRF, it will be converted to JRF.

Qualifications: First class Bachelors degree in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Botany/ Zoology/ computer science. Knowledge of programming in FORTRAN/ C language.
