US President Barack Obama plans to expand Foreign Student Work Program

Education NewsAccording to a Bloomberg News report, Obama plans to expand a programme that gives work permits of 29 months to foreign graduates of US universities in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. India’s software industry body Nasscom said such a move, besides alleviating the shortage of skilled workers in the United States, will also help Indian students and potentially the Indian technology industry.
