Post bifurcation, the Telangana government had formed a revision committee to make changes in the curriculum to give wider preference to local authors, culture and history.
T.V.S. Rambabu, coordinator for textbooks and curriculum, SCERT said, “The official error-finding committee will check the issues and make recommendations for editing the text books. As of now, we have identified several issues to put before the committee.”
P. Neelakanthayya, a resource person for SCERT said, “The proposals are being ready for submission before the committee. But, the government has not formed the committee yet. In the meantime, we are expecting a meeting to be scheduled this week with district-wise teachers and academics to review the proposals.
