Department of Atomic Energy, BRNS Secretariat, Government of India, invites applications for a temporary post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the BRNS Research Project entitled “Enhancement of type IV cracking resistance of modified 9Cr-1Mo ferritic steel by thermo mechanical treatment”.

Scholarship details
The fellowship will be paid at the rate of Rs.16,000/- per month during 1st and 2nd years and Rs.18,000/- for the 3rd year, if upgraded as SRF.

Qualifications:

  • B. E. / B. Tech. or equivalent in Metallurgy / Materials / Mechanical Engineering and M. E. / M. Tech. in Metallurgy / Materials / Mechanical Engineering with I Class
  • GATE Qualification
    If a candidate having higher qualification such as M. Tech competes with candidate having lower qualification such as B. Tech, he will be paid the Fellowship at the rate applicable to the later.
