On Supreme court verdict on second phase EAMCET counseling, the Minister said the government would react only after going through the judgment copy. The court in its verdict on Thursday ordered the APSCHE not to conduct the second phase counseling. About 65,000 engineering seats would fall vacant due to the cancellation of second phase of EAMCET counseling.
He said that he would be holding a meeting of education department officials on September 17 to discuss about the status of education in the state. In order to improve the quality of education in the grassroots level the State government would set up “cluster schools” in all the mandals in the state, he said. “Such schools which do not have sufficient students and teaching staffs would be brought to cluster schools and provided quality education”, he said.
