Says INS Kolkata proves India’s indigenous capability

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today commissioned the country’s largest indigenously-built destroyer warship ‘INS Kolkata’ into the Indian Navy.
“INS Kolkata proves India’s indigenous capability,” Modi said.

He added that this warship will send a message across the globe about India’s capability.

“INS Kolkata is a symbol of self-reliance and will boost the confidence of armed forces and the inspire the youth at the same time,” added Modi.

INS Kolkata is fitted with advanced weapon systems including anti-submarine technology.
